Seneca’s Season of Giving
(Des Moines, Iowa – March 8, 2022) – On December 17, 2021, Seneca Companies, Inc. held its 6th annual Bingo Charity Event. Each year, Seneca employees are encouraged to participate in the event in person or virtually. Participants purchase bingo cards to play for an array of prizes the company graciously donates. A raffle auction of items is also held. All proceeds are donated to a charity chosen by the company.
This year, the employees of Seneca chose to make a contribution to ChildServe, a local Des Moines-based organization working to improve the health and well-being of nearly 4,600 children each year through specialized clinical, home and community-based programs and services. ChildServe employs experts in pediatric rehabilitation and care for children and young adults with a wide variety of developmental delays, disabilities, acquired injuries and other special healthcare needs.
Seneca employees from the various branches, together, donated a total of $6,481 during the Bingo event. This donation will directly benefit the children and families of ChildServe along with specialized programs and facility restoration and renovation for the organization.
